  IMT Intermato has experience in developing new technology in aluminum alloy machining, so this new vertical lathe called "WD" has been designed for special superfinishing capabilities, a process for machining wheel front faces.

This superfinishing machining process differs substantially from the well-known diamond finishing machines. Even the quality of the finished surface obtained makes it possible to get a mirror type effect that is very close to what is offered by the chrome coating process.

This machine, as well as, all other Intermato IMT machines, has been equipped with an automatic loading / unloading system and as part of the machining cell, can be supplied "turn key". This capability is the result of more than 25 years of IMT Intermato's experience in the field.
